Back in 2013, John O’Nolan conceptualised a simplified, content and writing focused blogging platform. In response to the massive amount of positive feedback received, he decided to bring it to life, starting a KickStarter campaign which raised nearly £200,000 for the development. Built on node.js Ghost was released to the public as an open beta on October 14th 2013, you can download the latest version here: https://ghost.org/download/.
